While staying at his village home in Rangpur, former student leader Syed Borhan Kabir, who was once a member of the Chhatra Shibir, changed his ways and moved to Dhaka. Now, he lives a luxurious life in the capital’s elite areas, with a grand house, the latest model cars, and surrounded by women. To run his fraudulent activities, Borhan operates a company called “Creative Media Limited” in Dhanmondi. Under the guise of advertising and event management, this company primarily serves as an office for supplying women, much like the one run by Awami Volunteer League leader Naeem Ashraf. Borhan was always busy pleasing former advisor to Sheikh Hasina, Professor Syed Modassher Ali, and former Awami League information minister, Professor Abu Sayeed. In return, they helped him make millions of dollars.

Professor Syed Modassher Ali, an advisor to Sheikh Hasina, and Borhan Kabir together embezzled a project worth 200 crore taka under the guise of supplying medicine for bird flu. During his time, Abu Sayeed gave Borhan the opportunity to host a show called “Poriprekshito” on BTV. As a result, Borhan never had to look back. Through the “Poriprekshito” program, Borhan was able to expand his extortion activities, and it also opened doors for him to connect with women interested in working in the media.
