He is one of the main people involved in crimes like abduction, mirror house, etc. As the former Managing Director of BMTF, he embezzled at least 1,000 crore taka from the Election Commission’s EVM project. He also misappropriated a large amount of money from BMTF. He is a close and trusted ally of autocrat Sheikh Hasina’s security advisor, Tarek Siddique. He is a staunch fascist supporter of the Awami League and a strong opponent of the current interim government.
