BA-5977 Colonel Sheikh Khalid Mohammad Iftikhar, 41st Long Course. A resident of Gopalganj, this officer is the closest associate of the notorious “RAW” agent (dismissed and currently a fugitive) Lieutenant General Mojeeb and former SSF Director General Major General Nazmul. His father is a retired police officer who ran for nomination in the national elections twice from the fascist Awami League.
His first term in SSF was under the notorious “RAW” agent (dismissed and currently a fugitive) Lieutenant General Mojeeb for seven years. After that, he was sent on a UN mission. Following his UN mission, he was transferred to BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh), where he worked in the intelligence department as the Dhaka Detachment Commander. Later, he was appointed as the Commanding Officer of the Teknaf Battalion, where he was actively involved in illegal activities like financial corruption with the then BGB Director General, through which he amassed substantial wealth and assets.
After Major General Nazmul became the Director General of BGB, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid was appointed as the commander of the Narayanganj Battalion. When Major General Nazmul became the Director General of SSF, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid was transferred back to SSF under the guidance of Lieutenant General Mojeeb. After the fall of the fascist government, he was transferred from SSF to BIRC (Bangladesh Institute of Research and Culture). However, due to the influence of senior officers loyal to the fascist Awami League, the current SSF Director General, Major General Mahbubus Samad, has not yet implemented his posting order.
Colonel Khalid has declared himself an indispensable figure for SSF. He still maintains regular contact with his former boss, “RAW” agent (dismissed and currently a fugitive) Lieutenant General Mojeeb, and provides him with information. He continues to assist Lieutenant General Mojeeb in his conspiracy against the interim government. This dangerous officer has also worked with Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus and traveled to the United States with him. Colonel Khalid’s role as an advisor or SF officer is highly questionable. He was promoted to the rank of Colonel in October 2024 and assigned to the Bangladesh Military Academy in January 2025.
