Major General Ferdous Hasan Selim, BA-4410, from the 27th Long Course, is the former military secretary to the authoritarian Sheikh Hasina. His mother is a close friend of Sheikh Hasina, and he calls her ‘Aunty.’ He was also the military secretary to former Army Chiefs General Aziz and General Shafiuddin. Currently, he serves as the military secretary to the Chief Advisor. He is involved in the mission to rehabilitate fascist Awami League loyalists in the armed forces, civilian administration, police, and foreign service by misusing power and influencing the Chief Advisor. He pressures military leaders to change their recommendations and appoint fascist Awami League loyalists to important positions. He still has direct contact with Sheikh Hasina and Major General Tariq Siddique. He is a supporter of the Awami League and a strong opponent of the current interim government. As part of the rehabilitation of fascist Awami League loyalists, he still holds his position.
