Bags of Bribe Money Sent to Minister’s Residence: Administrative Officer Molla Ibrahim Accused of Corruption Worth Hundreds of Crores!

Molla Ibrahim Hossain, the former administrative officer to ex-Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, has been accused of serious corruption and irregularities.

According to investigations by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), he allegedly made large sums of money by taking bribes in exchange for arranging job postings, transfers, and appointments within the Ministry of Home Affairs. Reports claim that he collected bribes ranging from 80 lakh to 2 crore BDT for appointing police superintendents, and the money was even sent in bags to the minister’s residence.

He is also accused of accepting illegal benefits during recruitment processes at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Department. This alleged corruption ring is believed to have embezzled thousands of crores of BDT.

The ACC is currently investigating the allegations against Molla Ibrahim Hossain, and legal action is in progress.
