BA-3443 Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan, 18th Long Course, is a loyal and trusted follower of autocratic Sheikh Hasina and the notorious Major General Tariq Siddique. He is the former DG of DGFI, former BGB, former DG of SSF, and currently the Commandant of the IBRDC. He is one of the main figures involved in crimes such as enforced disappearances and secret detention. On August 5, 2024, he escorted autocratic Sheikh Hasina to Hindan Airbase, India. He is a hardcore fascist and a strong supporter of the Awami League, while being an opponent of the current interim government. He is still involved in efforts to bring Sheikh Hasina back to Bangladesh and remains in the army as part of the rehabilitation of Awami League loyalists and traitors.
