Muhammad Shiplu Zaman, an officer from the 24th batch of the BCS Information Cadre, served as Assistant Press Secretary multiple times during the tenure of former President Abdul Hamid. Towards the end of Abdul Hamid’s term, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Press Secretary. Despite the fall of the Hasina government, Shiplu Zaman remains in his position at Bangabhaban. From his position there, he has been accused of rehabilitating fascist officials and maintaining regular communication and exchange of information with various levels of the Awami League.
