Major General Mohammad Jahangir Harun (Retired), BA-3575, 20th Course, is known as the “foot-kissing general.” He is a former head of PGR and a loyal and trusted ally of the autocratic Sheikh Hasina and Major General Tariq Siddique. He served for a long time as the Commandant of PGR and witnessed the various wrongdoings of the Sheikh Hasina government. Later, he was promoted and served as the GOC of Comilla. In one event, he set a disgraceful example by saluting Sheikh Hasina with his hands on the ground in front of everyone. He is a staunch fascist supporter of the Awami League and a strong opponent of the current interim government.
